This is a large blue Mondaine Compact with a picture of a lady on the front. Sadly, it is also badly chipped on the front and a little on the back. Mondaine was started in the 1930's. The compact measures 3 7/8 by 3.00 inches. Inside are three spaces plus a very cloudy, but still somewhat visible mirror. The largest space on top is marked Mondaine New York USA with Paris under that. This door is on a spring, so it will snap close as soon as you let go. The space inside is clean as shown. On the left below that is a door marked Face Rouge. it has a partial pink blush in it. The wider door to the right is marked Face Powder and is clean and empty.
