Ketch, Ship in a bottle, sailing outlet on a blue sea

outlet The ketch has been described as a ship without a fore mast. Because of their speed and maneuverability they saw use as coastal traders and privateers. In naval use the clear front area allowed for the placement of mortars for shore bombardment.

This little 18th century ketch is sailing on a blue sea in a 4" x 1.5" x4.5", 177 ml bottle.
It is handmade from home grown hand milled bamboo.
