outlet It's the thick of gardening season. All the flowers and veggies are growing fast and putting on blooms and fruit with a vengeance. I spend hours out there weeding, staking, trimming...and talking to my garden toads. They are the garden kings and I consider their presence a sign of a healthy, thriving ecosystem. These candlesticks are an ode to the beautiful toad with all the flair and grace they deserve and all the beauty they allow.I use various wooden bits and bobs to create true one-of-a-kind pieces. These were glued, primed and then painted with acrylic paint in those lovely garden inspired colors. There are dark browns and taupes for the soil and toads, deep green for the luscious foliage, soft pink and cream and royal gold fit for the toad king. They were then finished with a matte polyurethane and my initial, of course. The taller candlestick holder is 9 inches tall. The smaller is 5 3/4 inches tall. Their widest part is about 2-ish inches across. The candle openings are 7/8 inches wide.All my projects are individu/lly gift wrapped and shipped USPS Priority M/8d so that they will arrive 2 - 3 days after they are shipped.
