Vintage Pants French work wear blue denim jeans faded hipster trousers or slacks 35 outlet inch waist

A wonderful pair of French peasant travaille bleus ~ these textiles are such wonderful finds! These trousers are produced using a heavy cotton denim that has been softly worn, built to withstand time and daily work use! The tone is lovely blue. ~ These pants date to the outlet 1940-50's. ~ ~ Lovely dyed cotton. This pair is softly worn with gentle fading and are super sturdy and strong, ready for more work! They are just broken in enough to be comfortable from the start, but have a lot of life left to give! All of the buttons are missing from the fly but there are 6 replacement buttons sewed into the waist, so these should be a snap to repair and then wear! It looks as though the ankles were once hemmed and then let out, this old seam looks a bit brittle and there is one hand-stitched mend per ankle along this line. There are 2 pockets on the front, one on the back and one small knife pocket on the side. ~ Unique, one of a kind always ~ These textiles were used throughout the French countryside and can still be seen today. CONDITION : These lovely pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition but can be machine washed at home. All the buttons are missing but there are replacement buttons sewn into the waist. Light fading and wear with a few small pale marks and small paint stains and pale lines along some old creases. The wear is mostly where you would expect, waist ankles, pockets. The knife pocket has some tiny holes in it. Generally lovely used vintage condition! I think these will wash beautifully! ~ Please use the zoom feature to view condition closely ~ !
