Painted bust with glass-stone chakras entitled outlet "Torso"

The substrate for this "Torso" was made from wet plaster slathered on a sleeveless t-shirt. I cut two holes in the dried form in order to fit green & orange glass stones to allow the light of the 4th & 2nd chakras to shine through. I secured the glass in these openings with strong glue and applied a circular design with acrylic paint to radiate outward.

I was invited to create this artwork by Lynn Anderson, a Chicago artist. It was displayed in her “Bustin' Out” Exhibit at Charlene's Gallery Ten, Gills Rock, Wisconsin in August of 2005. outlet
