Antique Aqua Bottle
This bottle is a good size and fat. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall x 4 1/8 inches across the base bottom and the opening is 2 inches across.
Circa mid outlet to late 1800s.
Antique aqua glass bottle.
Great for home decor, collecting, using as a little vase.
Condition; Very good vintage bottle. No chips or cracks. There are some manufacturing flaws that are present and have been present since the bottle was made, namely unevenness of the glass on the bottom, along the band bottom of neck. There is a teeny pinprick hole that does not go through to the inside of the bottle, so thus is a manufacturing defect along with some elongated shaped air pockets in the glass here or there; not many.
Also is a rough edge of glass that is another defect present since made along the outer bottom edge about a two inch section.
I think these flaws are what is charming about this bottle and give it character. Not sure what it was used for.
